Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability. Courses are limited to a maximum of 6 participants per session. Registration or account sign-in is required to make a booking.
Course fees
The adult course fee is $70. The junior course fee for participants under 18 is $50. A Victorian junior firearm licence applicant must be at least 12 years old.
Payment
Payment may be made online where offered or at the course where a pay-on-arrival option has been selected. Any outstanding amount remains payable by the person who made the booking.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please provide more than 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your course.
For cancellations made more than 24 hours before the course, you may transfer to another available session or request a refund. Card-processing charges retained by the payment provider may be deducted from the refund.
Cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours before the course may incur a $30 late cancellation fee, plus any card-processing charges retained by the payment provider. If payment has not yet been made, the late cancellation fee must be paid before another booking can be accepted.
Participants who do not attend and provide no notice will forfeit any course fee already paid. For a pay-on-arrival booking, the course fee may become payable before a further booking is accepted.
If Firearms Safety Training cancels a course, participants may transfer to another available session or receive a full refund.
Certificate
A certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course and knowledge test.
Participant requirements
Participants must bring current photo identification and follow all instructor directions and safety requirements during the course.
Licence applications
Successful completion of the course does not guarantee that Victoria Police will approve a firearms licence application. Licensing decisions are made by Victoria Police.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
